Introducing Merlin & Maverick!

Meet Merlin & Maverick my beautiful baby bunnies. They've been living with us for almost a month now and I'm in love. They are Dutch crossed with Netherland Dwarf bunnies so will stay pretty small.

On the way home

In a surprise to absolutely nobody I've given them aviation themed names, Maverick is of course named for my favourite films Top Gun and Top Gun:Maverick and Merlin is named after the Rolls Royce Merlin engine that powers Spitfires, Hurricanes, Mustangs etc etc.

Merlin

Maverick

Thankfully Merlin is also a pretty unisex name as when we brought them home we were under the impression that they were both boys but after their first vet visit for their jabs it turns out that Merlin actually prefers to identify as er female ..... Thank god we found out now! When they're fully grown Maverick will have to have the snip to make sure there are no unplanned 'Wingmen'.

Yep that's a Halloween food bowl from my first Halloween blog of last year

Like Estelle & Esme before them my 'Top Buns' (sorry not sorry) are living in the garden in a hutch and run built by Dad that they can access 24/7. Attached to this is a huge enclosure that they can go in during the day with room for me to sit with them.

They also love carrot cottages like Esme did and go through them in under a week 😆

They also love hay wheels from Auntie Helen

Synchronised washing is also a hobby

As is sunbathing ....

Personality wise Merlin is definitely the mischief maker, if one of them has their nose where it shouldn't be it's Merlin, if one is attempting to escape 'for a laugh' it's Merlin 😆 Maverick is a little more chill but is the absolute king of the binkies. He lives up to his name by being constantly supersonic.

They've got some toys from Auntie Tiffany's Napoleon Bunnyparte store but being typical kids were more interested in the box .

I'd forgotten how fast and energetic baby bunnies are, doing any kind of moving around the hutch or run involves a constant head count to make sure everyone is where they're supposed to be and not sneaking out.

Climbing along the tube is always an option apparently

They are adorable and I'm absolutely smitten with them. I'll never stop loving or forget my beautiful Estelle & Esme and I tell Maverick & Merlin about their sisters' antics every day. Eos is getting used to the new arrivals too, they keep making each other jump as they're small and zippy and she's big. They've briefly touched noses through the wire a couple of times so we're getting there bless them.

More bunny and Eos spam will of course follow.

Eos' Guide To Christmas Part 2! I went to a Christmas Market 🎄🐾

                                         *Woofles, squeaks & butt wiggles*

Hello it's me again! Jenni said I should write another blog because everyone liked my first one so much!

On Thursday Mummy, Jenni and me went to Christmas In Little Chelsea to look at the stalls and decorations.

On the way we went into a shop called Maybugs which is doggie friendly and has pretty decorations for me to sniff.

Here are Jenni and me at the Christmas market -

I was very disappointed that Santa Paws wasn't there, I wanted to ask him for tennis balls and cheese ...

Here's also a photo of me at The Perch today, next week we're going for a festive afternoon tea there!

Thank you for reading!

On The Hunt For Halloween Chapter 14 - Some Lovely Gifts & More Autumn Appreciation

Hi guys Halloween's getting ever closer! In fact it's less that a week until my party so I've busily checking off my to-do list of party bags, food and decoration planning (I think it's incredibly unfair that I can't decorate the rest of the house until Thursday at the earliest). In my last blog we had loads of pumpkin fun and the theme continues with some lovely gifts I received from my friends.

Helen got me this adorable pumpkin (it's so squishy!!).

It's now on my altar

I was super excited to receive a parcel in the post and opened it to find this adorable little guy and very appropriate sign from Heather.

Now firmly attached to my purse!

I'm also continuing on my 'Autumn Appreciation Course' and admiring all the colours around me. These were in our local park -

Yesterday we had another National Trust trip, this time to Bateman's which was the home of Rudyard Kipling (the author not the cake maker!). They had some beautiful colours on offer too.

And pumpkins too!

The house itself is lovely too -

Dogs are allowed in the grounds so Eos got to come too!

Today I decided to have some make-up fun and do some Autumn-inspired colours.

I used my 'Sally' Palette from Revolution with the colours 'Shadow On The Moon' and 'Romantic'.

And topped it up off with this mascara (also by Revolution) and eyeliner from Haus Labs (Lady GaGa's make-up brand!).

This was the result

I used my lipstick that I got on holiday from Sephora

The final full look -

One of the things I do like about Autumn is that it marks the start of Beret Season (and yes I do have a Pumpkin Beret).

I've accessorised it with this 'Stitch & Witch' pin which I thought was very me

We had to nip to Waitrose earlier and they still had some Halloween bits in (see my blog from last month with their full range) and I ended up with this Jack O' Lantern, candle and mug.

I'm hoping this mug sneaks past Mum's mug embargo ....

I can't believe it's almost Halloween now! I have a trip to Brighton with Vana planned for this week so you never know a few final bits might sneak home with me ........
